I have always loved baking, especially as gifts for my family and friends. In 2016 I decided to try and make my favourite sweet treat, donuts. Jam donuts were my first attempt, and from then I was hooked.
Donuts were not something I saw around me that much, apart from your typical jam and custard. So why not create them, rather than wait for them to come to my area of the UK. So in 2017 Doodle Donuts was born. I wanted to make donuts in all the flavours and colours, make them a special treat and bring joy to someone’s day. The name Doodle Donuts was inspired by wanting my donuts to be handmade and have the homemade feel. So each donut was unique, like a doodle, and not just produced on a production line. This has led to so many flavours being produced, and new ideas constantly as I am always excited to turn anything I love from a dessert to a delicious Doodle Donut.
Doodle Donuts also has the added bonus of being Vegan friendly, and we use as much recycled and environmentally friendly food grade packaging as possible.
Whether you find Doodle Donuts at a market, event, or order some for delivery, I hope that they bring you as much joy to eat them as I have making them. As this is still my favourite part of Doodle Donuts, bringing some happiness to a customers day.
